Renting an Apartment in Bangkok

Renting An Apartment in Bangkok, Thailand

I’ve been a little busy the last months with several things, including the search for a new apartment. I wanted to rent an apartment that’s a little more centrally located and for a cheaper price. I managed to find a 35m2 apartment in Bangkok central with a bedroom, balcony and shared pool. The price is 11,000 THB per month (about 280 EUR) before electricity and internet.

This apartment is in the Din Daeng area, from which most of the key areas in Bangkok can be easily reached. The apartment is about 8 minutes walking away from a metro station and 2 shopping malls full of shops, restaurants and other entertainment.

Internet here is 30 Mbps down and 10 Mbps up, which is the fastest I’ve had in months. I have yet to try the 60 meter long swimming pool. There is a supermarket at the entrance which is open 24 hours a day. Several restaurants are around the complex offering food for 40-60 THB (1.00-1.50 EUR) and there’s a street market around the corner.

I will be living in this area for a while as I have everything I need out here. At the end of the month I’m going to do a visa trip again. I will probably be going to Cambodia, which will cost me an entire day, unfortunately.
